Cell Member

Dedicated Computing designs, builds, validates and integrates compute engines (purpose-specific computers) and high level assemblies for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs). Our business has grown significantly over the past several years and future growth is projected through new customer engagements.

The Manufacturing operation is a cellular/lean manufacturing climate-controlled environment. The manufacturing cells are structured to run in a one-piece flow, build-to-order production system. The members of our manufacturing team interact closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Sales, Materials and Shipping to ensure customer quality and delivery requirements are met.

Our Cell Members work in teams of six to eight people. This team dynamic contributes to the success of meeting our goals and customer needs. Therefore, we look for that right blend of technical expertise and personality when adding talent to our teams. The various stations within the cell include assembly, download, configuration, testing and packaging. Team members have the opportunity to rotate to different parts of the cell to expand their current computer knowledge. Cell members are also responsible for the quality within their cells and are encouraged to share and implement their process improvement ideas.
