JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary: The Purchasing Clerk - Raw Materials is responsible for accurately fulfilling requests for purchases and administering the detailed purchasing process from order placement to order received in accordance with company best practices. They will also be responsible for controlling the inventories in various plants of raw materials by Brakebush purchasing standards. This position communicates directly with all levels of employees within the company and our vendors/suppliers.

Supervisory Responsibility: This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment: Office environment. Subject to extended periods of sitting, working on PC and talking on telephone.
Physical Demands: This position would be primarily sitting with little to no lifting or other physical demands.
Position Type: Salaried non-exempt, primarily 1st shift, 7:30 AM to 4 PM. Hours may vary as needed.
Travel: Opportunities for travel may arise but are infrequent.
