Responsible for managing complex processes and functions, develops reports and analyzes data for their specific roles. The Senior Analyst must have a complete understanding of their unique job accountabilities as well as overall knowledge of all aspects of the line of business. This includes data reporting and advanced excel experience. This colleague is a subject matter expert and consults with departments throughout the organization on best practices. Incumbent collaborates with other analysts, interacts and supports management team members and colleagues. Position accountabilities have significant impact on the performance and success of the line of business.

This person will also:

  • Responsible for creating, maintaining, enhancing, and documenting databases/information systems within the line of business to support, process, and circulate information to meet the business needs. Responsible for database administration and acts as subject matter expert on database systems. Maintain data integrity and perform quality checks.
  • Responsible for writing complex data queries and programming, enhancing, and maintaining complex reports (which may include VBA). This shall include developing and maintaining hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports to meet business needs from existing data sets and sources. Develop and maintain reporting, while reviewing for consistency, functionality, and recommending streamlining to provide efficiency. Responsible for all business line inquiries that require InformEnt/COGNOS access and analysis.
  • Manage existing reports, a description of the data provided, data sources, report frequency, and distribution lists for report recipients. Manage the existing reporting by annually assessing the need for reports and documenting that assessment.
  • Responsible for sourcing data from existing sources and programming automated reporting scripts into new or existing databases. Maintaining the reporting databases, developing new reports from new or existing data sets, as well as enhancing data reporting sources and procedures ongoing
  • Attend department meetings to gather reporting requirements and develop and implement the process to obtain and distribute data as requested.
  • Within CBB - Acts as back up and support to Scheduling and Forecasting Analyst. Responsible for creating and maintaining schedules, PTO/Flex time scheduling, daily updates to Workforce Management. Financial analysis of overtime limits, shift differential and FT/PT costs are required. Provides first level of internal support for usage or analysis questions.
  • Within CBB - Manage and review department application entitlement reviews for all systems and agents used by Customer Care

Note: This position can be hired at multiple levels. We will assess applicants based on their skills and years of relevant experience.


Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Banking, Customer Service, Finance, or Sales. Required



Experience

  • 2-5 years Data analysis and reporting and SQL with Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and Outlook) including VBA programming. Required
  • 2-4 years customer service or banking with demonstrated ability or in providing work direction or leadership. Preferred
  • 1-2 years call center systems and telecom and/or IT. Preferred
