Job Description
We are currently seeking an IT Technician for one of our Central Wisconsin Clients. This position will be providing customer service to end users for onsite and remote locations to troubleshoot technical issues and problems relating to hardware, software and other systems. Hours are Monday-Friday working 8am-4pm with some flexibility needed.

Other essential responsibilities:
* Provides supplemental support installing, configuring, and maintaining technologies
* Installs software, updates, and patches within policies
* Resolves hardware and software problems, contact equipment and service vendors where needed, and performs PC setup and installation.
* Supports new and existing software/hardware installs across all sites including laptop/desktops, windows servers, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and other hardware
* Supports Cloud computing technologies such as Azure a plus.
* Assists with maintaining asset inventories of hardware and software licenses.
* Supports the Virtualized environment (VMware/ESXi).
* Stays organized and manages workload within required deadlines.
* Coordinates onboarding for team members pertaining to new user accounts, configuration and deployment of new computer and associated hardware.
* Assists with testing and implementation of new IT systems and equipment.
* Must be able to work nights/weekends as business needs arise
* This is an on-site position with occasional travel between facilities required

Requirements:

* Associates Degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent work experience.
* 1-5 Years of Experience supporting numerous information technologies in a multi-location environment, resolving user issues, and being an integral part of the help desk operations.
* Demonstrated proficiency in the usage and support of Windows (server and desktop installs), Office 365, with the ability to troubleshoot end user issues using various techniques.
* Demonstrated proficiency in the usage, support, maintenance and troubleshooting of end-user hardware including PC (desktop, laptop), server builds & support, mobile devices, and other IT related hardware.
* Demonstrated ability performing hardware upgrades and repairs as required.
* Basic knowledge of network protocols.
* Demonstrated customer service skills in a virtual environment and in person.
* Dependable work habits including the ability to work nights and weekends.
* Effective communication skills to understand and relate to end-user issues.
* Desktop support within a windows network environment.
* Resourcefulness in identifying issues and developing solutions to minimize downtime and reduce operational disruptions.
* Network and infrastructure maintenance, installation, and support.
* Supporting a virtualized infrastructure including server, desktop, and remote installations.
