Shift: 1st Shift

Work model: Hybrid

Schedule: Full-time; Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Job overview:

Schneider is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant in Green Bay to participate in close processes, including preparing internal reporting and performing in-depth variance analysis. The Senior Corporate Accountant will put together period-end journal entries, perform analytical review procedures during monthly close and prepare reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.

Responsibilities:
  • Be responsible for the following accounting areas: Goodwill, equity, share-based compensation, intercompany transactions and balances and foreign currency.
  • Review and post journal entries during period-end close processes.
  • Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Assess the effectiveness of control procedures.
  • Prepare external financial reporting.
  • Implement new accounting standards.
  • Develop, document and implement procedures that will produce timely and accurate financial information.
  • Document processes and procedures.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in accounting.
  • Four to six years of accounting or auditing experience.
  • CPA strongly preferred or readiness to obtain.
  • Experience with ERP systems, such as Oracle.
  • Public accounting experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability and desire to work on site, in person, at a Schneider facility as part of a team.
