This position is responsible for assisting in effective recruitment strategy for all assigned positions within the following areas: engineering, plant and sales.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Confers with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications and skills. Writes job descriptions and/or reviews and edits job descriptions written by others. Manages Descriptions Now functionality and ensures accuracy of job descriptions for assigned business units.

Develops and executes recruitment programs and collateral to attract applicants and to fill specific job openings.

Assist and advise managers in development of job requisitions and justifications.

Develops and coordinates internal job posting program and writes job postings.

Develops and maintains network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.

Writes and places job advertising in various media.

Utilizes internet online recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates.

Initiates contact with possibly qualified candidates for specific job openings.

Reviews applications and interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position.

Screens and refers candidates for additional interviews with others in the organization, managing the subsequent recruitment process to ensure timely execution and hiring of suitable candidates.

Performs or coordinates the performance of required testing and reference and background checks on applicants.

Makes public presentations at schools, organizations and job fairs regarding the organization and opportunities. Coordinates participation in, sets up display and works at job fairs.

This position will be assigned several colleges and universities to develop relationships with for the purpose of entry-level sales recruiting. The position will be responsible for finding and researching schools that will be effective for Rite-Hite sales growth. Also, the position will be assigned several Rite-Hite independent distributors. The goal is to develop relationships with each of the assigned reps and drive sales growth throughout their organization.

The incumbent will assist with the communication and implementation of Human Resources policies and programs. This responsibility will include assisting employees

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Assist in the recruitment and retention of quality personnel.

Promote positive employee relations through effective communications and interaction.

Develop effective training programs either formal or informal.

Relationship building with colleges & universities.

Relationship building with assigned independent distributors.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
