Maintenance Mechanic
Monday-Friday, 10-12 hr shifts, $33/hr
Job Description/Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, maintain, repair and conduct preventive maintenance on all facility equipment.
Inspect and conduct preventive maintenance on all equipment
May maintain facility equipment, on or off site including but not limited to:
Cranes
Fork Lifts
Loaders
Non-ferrous Shear
Skid Steer
Sorting Lines
Shredders
Trucks
Trailers
Wire Striper
Prepare & maintain all maintenance records
Organize and maintain cleanliness of Maintenance Department
You will be involved in variety of other responsibilities including ordering parts, welding, and fabricating, minor electrical repairs
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required. Prefer AAS (technical degree) and/or technical certification in Truck Repair, Welding, Hydraulics, and Electrical & Diesel Mechanics.
Minimum 2-4 years' experience in truck repairs, diesel mechanics, hydraulics, welding, electrical record keeping, and preventive maintenance programs.
Must be able to multi-task & have the ability to develop effective working relationships with vendors & suppliers.
Must be able to analyze facts and determine action using a range of procedures within limits of standard practice.
Good communication skills and some computer skills required to utilize online PM programs as well as computer diesel, hydraulic and or electrical program
