Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position working Monday thru Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. You will work at 1212 Deming Way in Middleton, WI.

Come make a difference at the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! Help make a positive impact on the patient experience by preparing images for providers and patients in the electronic medical record in a timely and efficient manner.

We are seeking an Image Management Assistant to:

  • Develop proficiency and expertise in moving clinical data to viewing locations on radiology imaging systems, transferring images from electronic media, and identifying anatomy, modalities, and procedure types.
  • Edit and correct records for UW Health images and other imaging that resides in UW Health's radiology imaging systems, including the merging and linking of patient records.
  • Work closely with other staff to provide imaging record services to physicians, faculty, and staff both internally and externally.
  • Understand policies and procedures surrounding record release, record retention, and record destruction.

Education:

Minimum - High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred - Education in Health Information Management, Clinical Healthcare, Information Technology, or other related field.

Work Experience:

Preferred - One year of healthcare or customer service experience.
