Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated project assistant. This position will be located in our Madison, WI office.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining project opportunities in Deltek Vision software
  • Preparing project contract setup documents
  • Monitoring project schedules and budgets
  • Providing project status updates to Project Managers
  • Managing project files
  • Attending internal and external project related meetings; prepare agendas and take/distribute minutes as requested
  • Assisting in preparation and collection of marketing data
  • Processing specifications
  • Office logistics

A valid driver's license and some travel will be required.

The successful candidate will have an associate degree (or higher) in a business administration, English, communication, marketing, graphic design, or related field and at least four years of relevant office experience of which at least two years of experience working in the A/E/C industry; OR if no degree, must have at least six years of relevant office experience of which at least two years of experience working in the A/E/C industry.

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:

  • Proofing/editing project contracts and/or reports
  • Newforma or Microsoft Project (or similar) project management software
  • Deltek Vision or other financial project software
  • Construction phase activities
  • Incoming/outgoing mail, deliveries and filing duties
  • Strong interpersonal/communication/organizational skills
