POSITION SUMMARY
The Outfitting Lead is responsible for ILS outfitting production management, and serves as the primary interface and point of contact with Government program authorities and representatives for all aspects of the development, execution, and delivery of Coordinated Shipboard Allowance List (COSAL) material. Manages acquisition and employment of ILS project resources, and the financial and administrative aspects of the project with respect to ILS contract requirements. The individual must be well organized and knowledgeable in employing EVMS and other management techniques.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises 1 to 5 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Assigned to provide direct supervision to ILS Specialists, and Administrative Assistants as necessary to meet outfitting contract requirements. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Demonstrates leadership skills that align with the mission, vision, and values of the Company.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, and walk; use hands to handle materials or equipment; reach with hands and arms; stoop and kneel; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. The employee may also be required to make occasional trips to the warehouse, yard, or ship as necessary for shipboard activities, validation, and other duties necessary to perform their job. This may require moving around a ship, up/down stairways, ladders, man ways, scuttles, hatches, etc.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee's workspace is in a clean and comfortable climate-controlled setting with little to no exposure to the moving equipment, elements, extreme conditions, or risk of injury. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. When entering the shipyard, the work environment is not climate-controlled and there is exposure to moving equipment, etc.
