The Pfister is looking for an enthusiastic Bartenders and Servers in our restaurants and banquet operations to provide an excellent event and guest experience this summer. You will create amazing memories and exceed our guests' expectations. Prior bartending experience and a bartender's license is required for all bartenders.

Built in 1893, The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee has been a hotel icon for nearly 130 years. The Pfister Hotel has received AAA Four Diamond hotel status for 48 consecutive years. The hotel is one of only 11 properties throughout North America to maintain the AAA Four Diamond designation since the inception of the Diamond Rating program in 1976.

What you'll be doing:

* Maintain cleanliness of designated work area and guest areas throughout shift.

* Greet the guest in a friendly and courteous manner and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions for guest awareness.

* Maintain positive interaction with guest.

* Work as a team player and assist co-workers as needed.

* Supplement the bus help in clearing and resetting tables. Always pre-bus main course dishes before guest leaves the table.

* Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis including paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce, based on Banquet Event Orders (BEO's). Check par level of beer, wine and spirits.

* Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.

* Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner and promote and documents orders for drinks. Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control.

* Must adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests to ensure all laws are being followed.

* Perform all assigned side work to include replenishing condiments and restocking service areas.

What you will bring:

* Ability to comprehend English in order to receive instructions from managers and guests.

* Ability to respond quickly and accurately to guest requests.

* Ability to handle multiple tasks quickly and efficiently.

* Ability to lift 30 lbs. with or without a reasonable accommodation.

* Prior restaurant and/or banquet experience preferred.
