Job Description
Powers Jewelry Designers in Downtown Milwaukee has been family owned and operated since 1976. We are looking for someone to join our team as a full-time sales associate. The right candidate is a motivated, friendly, professional individual who is a team player and brings a positive attitude on a daily basis. Must be trustworthy, reliable, and willing to work flexible hours.

Duties & Responsibilities
•    Engage with customers and determine their jewelry needs
•    Present merchandise and explain product features and qualities
•   Provide excellent customer service in store and via phone and online communication
•    Take professional photos of jewelry and manage our social media 
•    Update website with photos and information
•    Generate sales through positive customer interactions, professionalism and knowledge
•    Professionally handle and clean customer and store merchandise, including repair and appraisal intake
•    Follow all retail, point of sale, and cash handling procedures 
•    Help stock inventory and maintain a clean and organized store

Skills & Qualifications
•    Jewelry experience is a plus but not a necessity, training available
•    Ability to work in a fast paced environment
•    Decision making, trouble shooting, and multitasking skills
•    Experience using administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, email, point of sale system, ...
•    Two-years’ experience providing customer and personal services or equivalent experience

Compensation package includes hourly wage, commissions and bonuses. Estimated base wages in the first year: $42,000+ Benefit package includes paid sick and vacation leave, health insurance reimbursement, retirement plan, and free parking
