Charter Manufacturing is hiring an IT/Digital Portfolio Intern!

The Digital Portfolio Intern will help to support a cloud-based application that manages a portfolio of projects across several organizations. The intern will manage user access and collaborate with project managers, resource leaders, and other digital team members. This role will identify needs for clean data to help make strategic decisions.

Internship Program Structure:

  • Duration/Schedule: Flexible part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer months.
  • Hybrid flexibility: 2 days in the office
  • Start Date: May 2024

What you'll do:

  • Support a cloud-based application that manages a portfolio of projects across several organizations.
  • Identify needs for clean data to help make strategic decisions.
  • Assist in the creation of templates and blueprints ensuring consistency and efficiency to improve processes.
  • Gain valuable experience with strategic roadmaps and reporting tools.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement projects.
  • Assist in other projects and function as a resource for other team members.
  • Document and improve processes.

What you'll need:

  • Enrollment in a two-year or four-year degree program in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with current status of at least a Sophomore level.
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to succeed in a team environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.

What we'd prefer:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • One year of IT-related experience
