Part-time Movers (Spring-Summer)
1st Shift - 20 Hours Per Week $17.00 Based on experience
Position Responsibilities:
- Complete all assigned project tasks using appropriate safety techniques and equipment.
- Exercise a high level of care & caution when handling customer assets so as not to damage client belongings or surrounding property.
- Adhere to all directions given by crew leads and/or direct supervisors.
- Clearly communicate urgent questions, concerns, etc. to crew leads and/or direct supervisors.
- Maintain a positive, polite, and professional demeanor whilst working and/or engaging with the general public, customers, and coworkers.
- Be on time and in uniform for all scheduled work shifts.
- Operate move equipment safely - using it for its intended purpose/functionality only.
- Assist drivers with pre- and post-shift truck maintenance procedures
- Checking equipment in & out.
- Loading & unloading equipment, contents, etc.
- Backing drivers into docks or other areas for loading or unloading.
- Maintain a clean workspace - this includes job sites and the interiors of all company vehicles.
- Actively assist crew with all project related tasks - moving, pushing, carrying, etc.
Qualifications
- Physically able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Need to have a flexible schedule - work during normal working hours as well as occasional evenings, weekends, and out of town work.
- High school diploma, or GED equivalent.
- Prior industry related experience preferred but not required.
