Job Description

SCOPE OF LEADERSHIP ROLE

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Sr Manager, Strategic Pricing to join our Industrial Powertrain Solutions segment finance team. This is a critical role to lead our pricing strategy across the segment and partner with business leaders in each division to align pricing with our business objectives. This is a great opportunity for a self-driven leader who will analyze market data to drive competitive pricing analysis and positioning and lead stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pricing Strategy Development and Deployment

    • Drive Pricing strategy by providing recommendations that align with market performance and competitive dynamics.

    • Develops tactical and strategic pricing initiatives to maximize overall revenue while ensuring alignment with company objectives.

    • Utilize price realization results, inflationary trends, 80/20 methodology and competitive landscape insights to optimize pricing Strategy

    • Translate Commercial team and company objectives into actionable items for Divisional Pricing team members.

    • Participate in Strategic, Annual and Quarterly price planning and process updates

    • Drive the design and ongoing refinement of pricing analysis tool capabilities.

  • Pricing Steering Committee Leadership

    • Lead the Pricing Steering Committee comprised of executive and business leadership.

    • Communicates pricing trending and activity to business stakeholders and executive leadership team.

    • Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and product teams to align pricing with overall business objectives

    • Track and proactively communicate competitor pricing actions to Commercial teams and keep visible with leadership via the Pricing Steering Committee.

    • Continuously refine processes and tools to enhance price realization effectiveness.

  • Market Responses, competitive pricing analysis and positioning

    • Monitors competitive pricing environment and ensures pricing methods are appropriately positioned.

    • Conduct pricing analysis, including price elasticity, sensitivity, and scenario modeling.

    • Assess Performance and execute appropriate market-level responses based on product positioning, cost trending, value delivered/elasticity, market performance, 80/20, and portfolio strategies

    • Monitor 80/20 "B" part SKU price capture and demand shaping results vs. divisional strategies to ensure desired strategies are performing as desired.

    • Proactively identify pricing adjustment opportunities beyond immediate needs/market.

  • Stakeholder communication

    • Communicate pricing trends and activities to business stakeholders and the executive leadership team.

    • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, finance, and product teams to align pricing with overall business objectives.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree required; major in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics preferred. Advanced degree in Business, Economics, Statistics or Mathematics is highly preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in pricing, revenue management or related roles.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience with Oracle and/or SAP preferred.

  • Experience with Power BI preferred.

  • Proficiency in advanced Excel and statistical methods used in pricing modeling and forecasting.

  • Awareness of current industry pricing environment, competitive landscape and recent trends.

  • Skill in distilling relevant facts from large data sets.

  • Ability to identify root causes and synthesize responses.
