Responsible for the day-to-day data entry functions in the foundation. Focuses on gift entry, data integrity, and the daily entry of all biographical and prospect data. Identifies and corrects data inconsistencies and maintains data entry policies and procedures in an effort to continuously improve overall data quality.

  • Requires high school education or equivalent and formal course work in computer applications, programs and software.
  • Demonstrated ability and fortitude to identify data discrepancies and awareness of how data integrity efforts support and impact organization fundraising operations.
  • Solid understanding of data systems, including data relationships.
  • Willingness to solve data-related issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle interruptions and shifting priorities while maintaining focus on tasks.
  • Ability to identify inefficient or ineffective processes and suggest improvements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, high level of accuracy, an aptitude for logical thinking, a commitment to professional ethics, and the ability to interact with foundation staff as well as experience working in non-profit sector and with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently and with others; self-directed and results-oriented.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and meet goals in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated track record of success with the following leadership competencies: customer focus, action oriented, communicates effectively, manages ambiguity.
  • Ability to summarize key findings and create actionable recommendations.
