HARIBO of America is growing and adding to our business development team. The Territory Sales Representative - TX, OK, KS, & Western U.S.is responsible for developing strong relationships with retailers and brokers in our Convenience store channel throughout the Midwest and Wester half of the United States. Reporting up to and supporting the Sr. Business Development Manager, the Territory Sales Representative will work with assigned brokers and retailers to execute sales plans, address retailer specific requests and requirements, analyze sales data, assist with conducting regular business reviews, perform sales visits to broker offices and/or regional or national grocery chain headquarters, and monitor and help improve brand distribution and discoverability within assigned C-Store channel customers in a multi-state territory throughout the Great Plains & Western states region of the United States.

The Territory Sales Representative- TX, OK, KS, & Western U.S., known internally as a Business Development Lead, is a remote field based position. Due to the geographical nature of this role, the ideal candidate will be based in the Great Plains or Western region of the U.S., currently in states such as Texas, Oklahoma, or Kansas. The ideal Territory Sales Representative will have at least 1+ years of experience in a sales, business development, or analytical roles within the CPG, Consumer Packaged Goods industry or corporate retail industry. Additionally, will have experience with syndicated data such as IRI and/or Nielsen, have fact-based selling skills, strong analytical skills, a Bachelor's Degree, have the ability to travel up to 40% of the time with overnight stays, and demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to a Sr. Business Development Manager for the Convenience stores retail channel
  • Work with assigned brokers, wholesalers, and regional retailers to develop business
  • Assist with providing accurate and timely sales forecasts
  • Analyze and review sales data including syndicated data such as IRI and /or Nielsen
  • Conduct regular business reviews and sales visits, both in-person and by video, to broker offices and regional or national convenience store chain retail headquarters throughout the Great Plains region and Western states region of the U.S.
  • Attend tradeshows and industry events
  • Perform routine retail checks, visiting assigned Conveniencestore locations throughout the Great Plains region and Western halfof the United States

Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience in a sales, business development, or analytical roles within the CPG, Consumer Packaged Goods industry or corporate retail industry
  • Experience with syndicated data such as IRI and/or Nielsen
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Marketing or related field
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time with overnight stays
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Due to the geographical nature of this role, the ideal candidate will be based in the Great Plains and Western states region of the U.S., currently in states such as Texas, Oklahoma, or Kansas.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficient to advanced skills in MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Prior experience in FMCG, Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry
  • Prior experience in candy, confectionery, or snack industry
  • Demonstrated team player and proven ability to work well with others
