Job Description
Employee Benefits Corporation is hiring for Regional Sales Director to help grow our business in the Mid-Atlantic region.  The Regional Sales Director works closely with brokers, agencies, carriers, employers, professional organizations, community organizations and contractors to promote and sell Employee Benefits Corporation’s suite of products.  This position establishes and fosters ongoing and trusted working relationships with the broker distribution channel and clients.   The Regional Sales Director ensures profitable growth in sales and revenue within the assigned region by achieving established goals and assists in the operational administration of successful onboarding.   
 
 Responsibilities Include:
  • Prospect and develop clients in the assigned market area
  • Consult with prospective brokers, employers, carriers and referral sources to design benefit plan solutions that include the products and services offered by Employee Benefits Corporation
  • Establish and foster working relationships with external clients and brokers, developing and sustaining a growing prospect pipeline
  • Represent company at industry events and tradeshows
  • Develop written responses to requests for proposals
  • Prepare service agreements
  • Promote and cross sell additional products and services to clients and brokers
  • Maintain and proactively manager client communications, sales activities and data within CRM database
 
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience selling through the broker channel
  • Must have established broker/client relationships in the Mid-Atlantic or Upper Midwest region of the United States
  • Sales experience in health experience industry
  • Prior experience in developing and implementing a business development plan
  • Exceptional relationship building skills with customer focus mindset
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience utilizing CRM systems
  • Familiarity with training, conferencing, and virtual meeting technologies
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently to client sites, meetings or conferences throughout the year that may require overnight stays
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
