Work Schedule:

This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Scheduled shifts are 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. This is a hybrid remote position.

We are seeking a Financial Counselor - Transplant to:

  • Serve as the point of contact for the financial aspect of transplant care, including government programs assistance, clarifying transplant benefits, and counseling regarding other costs related to transplant.
  • Gather all relevant information required to process financial assistance requests. Document all communication and follow up in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Education:

Minimum - High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred - Associate's degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration or related field.

Work Experience:

Minimum - One (1) year experience in Health Care Revenue Cycle or insurance

Preferred -

  • Two (2) years' experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle

or

  • Previous Transplant experience
