Job Description

Work Schedule:

Per diem. As needed 8 or 10-hour shifts scheduled Monday - Friday, between the hours of 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of department.

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to:

  • Provide treatment for hand and upper extremity patients of all ages and guide them through individualized rehabilitation programs.
  • Efficiently communicate with physician referral sources and other UW Health departments for care coordination and collaboration.
  • Work in collaboration with UW Health wellness staff to consider long term healthy living strategies beyond occupational therapy care.
  • Work within a large, dynamic rehab team to continually provide exceptional patient and family centered care.

Education:

Minimum - Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.

Preferred - Master's degree.

Work Experience:

Preferred - Two (2) years prior relevant experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Wisconsin is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) within three months of hire.
