Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The position leads the business process mapping, requirements-gathering, and functional design necessary to configure SAP business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial, and technological needs for SAP Plan to Produce. This position also leads and/or executes the testing business processes to confirm the procedure and solutions meet requirements while assisting with resolving any identified defects.

In this position, you will be involved in process improvements that leverage Prolec GE Waukesha's SAP ERP system and other integrated systems. This position will participate in system configuration, troubleshooting, testing, and training activities, all aimed at business process and system optimization. Since most initiatives in other areas of the business have financial implications, you will need to understand the importance of integration in areas such as Order To Cash (OTC), Source to Pay (STP), and Record to Report (RTR)

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Primary responsibility for reviewing SAP business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial, and technological needs for SAP Plan to Produce.
  • Providing application administrative support within SAP PTP including interfaces
  • Partnering with business stakeholders, management to provide a vision for new and supported initiatives.
  • Managing an application portfolio and associated projects
  • Address the various needs, concerns, expectations of stakeholder groups in planning and executing projects, meeting project requirements, and creating project deliverables.
  • Takes responsibility for understanding client requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis and problem resolution.
  • Balancing competing project constraints including but not limited to scope, quality, schedule, budget, resources, and risks to accommodate the needs of each user/customer.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as functional analyst in SAP ECC systems or 3 years related field experience for plan to produce processes
  • Minimum of 2 Full Life Cycle Implementations in ECC or S4 HANA supporting planning modules.
  • Experience with SAP manufacturing, production planning, forecasting, and scheduling.
  • Knowledge of system configuration, business process design, Controls, and MDM. Application testing, and incident handling procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to self-motivate and successfully work on multiple projects.
  • Experience setting up ongoing documentation, templates & procedures for collection and review of processes within the organization
  • Experience in APO a plus

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Required Education / Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as functional analyst in SAP ECC systems or 3 years related field experience as in SAP S4 systems


Preferred Education / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Production planning or 3-5 years related experience for this position is preferred.
