Position Summary
Responsible for the quality control program in the Radiation Therapy department, including calibration of all equipment, and assisting the dosimetrist in treatment planning.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Education: Four-year degree preferred.
Minimum Experience: Must be knowledgeable of the operation methods and safety standards of all equipment producing ionizing radiation within the department. Must be able to handle radiation sources. Three years clinical experience required.
Certification/Licensure:Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). Must be licensed by the state or eligible for licensure.CPR certification required. Certification or completion courses must meet the standards of Memorial Medical Center.
