Job Description
Global Power Components is looking for an experienced .035/.045 Production Welder. We are a UL approved heavy gauge steel diesel fuel tank fabricator.

Responsibilities:
  • Weld components in flat/vertical or overhead positions
  • Clamp, hold, tack-weld, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding
  • Position and secure workpieces, using hoists, cranes, wire and banding machines or hand tools
  • Inspect products/equipment for defects/malfunctions

Required:
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Able to read blueprints
  • Able to troubleshoot and problem solve
  • Must be highly motivated
  • Able to communicate and work well with others
  • Must pass competency test, weld test and pre-employment physical including drug screen

For Consideration:
We are looking for a dedicated team member that is detail oriented. Most people on our team averages 45 to 65 hours per week. So, we are looking for a core fit into the team that can help make a positive difference.
We have not listed an education requirement; however we will be asking several questions to verify that the responsibilities could be performed.
Hours: 40-50 hours per week
