Children's Wisconsin has an opportunity for a Desktop Engineer- Senior
What you will do:
Maintains the health of the application packaging software environment related to clients, packages and distribution point content. Manages application packaging software Operating System Deployment (OSD) implementation. Packages, tests, and deploys automated desktop and laptop application installations following approved processes and procedures. Creates collections and advertisements for software distribution. Manages deployment of patches and critical updates. Works closely with other Field Services staff to support/troubleshoot end user device issues. Develops and maintains appropriate documentation of the environment. Keeps IMS Server Manager Leadership apprised of potential or actual issues affecting the desktop environment. Coordinates with Field Services leadership regarding projects that affect PC hardware and software implementations and IMS related changes that affect all areas of the organization.
