This position is located at our Mequon Facility (Dr. Comfort). Founded in 2002, at Dr. Comfort we create the best diabetic footwear for those living with diabetes or other foot conditions which affect their day-to-day life. We also offer prescription and non-prescription inserts, diabetic socks, slippers, sandals, compression hosiery and more. In fact, we offer custom solutions for patient’s specific needs with our in-house state-of-the-art lab, whether you are looking for shoe modifications or custom inserts. Using 3D printing, we make the highest volume of custom-made inserts to meet the patient’s needs

Available Positions                                                                                                                       
  • Assembly
Gluing using machine hot glue and/or hand gluing with contact cement Cutting with scissors or utility blade
 
  • Milling
Operating a CNC milling machine - milling foams and plastics
Cutting with utility blade
Some minor grinding/sanding

 
  • Grinding
Grinding assembled product to finished shape and design using large finisher/sander
  • Packing
Inspect, clean, label and pack completed orthotics.
 
Required For all positions:
  • Reading and following instructions
  • Attention to order details on material types and other special instructions
  • Maintain production levels of inventory
  • Inspect product for defects and accuracy
  • Work independently and within a team
  • General clean up and maintaining an organized area
  • Eye and ear protection required
  • Working on feet
  • Abide by all company safety and personnel policies
