In 1991, International Communication by Design was born in the shadow of the historic Schlitz Brewery in Milwaukee, WI. Owners Dany Olier and Catherine Deschamps-Potter, two graduates of the Ecole de Commerce et de Gestion (ECG) in France, started their business by giving language instruction to local companies conducting business in France. Shortly thereafter, the young entrepreneurs were presented with an increasing number of requests for translations from U.S. exporters who needed highly technical literature put into various foreign languages. Today the company focuses on the professional translation of technical manuals, specsheets, software, brochures, websites, legal documentation, packaging, etc. are translated by professional translators. ICD also offers a host of other services to help your company compete on a global scale. Nobody understands the importance of communicating like the people at ICD. After all, their company was once a stranger in a strange land, too.
