The North Shore Water Commission owns and operates a municipal water treatment facility that produces safe drinking water. Since 1963, we have reliably provided water to the communities of Glendale, Whitefish Bay, and Fox Point. In recent years, we have picked up additional customers through the Mequon Water Utility. Our water treatment facility uses conventional water treatment processes to remove pathogens and other contaminants from Lake Michigan. Dedicated to water quality, we consistently surpass state and federal regulations. We monitor the water quality at every stage of the water treatment process using independent laboratories as well as our own.
