Company Overview
Capitoland Christian Center was born out of a calling God had for Rev. Stephen Stauffacher to return to Madison from Hudson Falls, NY. The work began on Easter Sunday, April 3rd, 1983 in the basement of the M&I Bank of Jamestown on the southwest side of Madison. There were eight in attendance (seven of which were family members). From this humble beginning, Capitoland has grown to a congregation of over 200 with an 11 acre campus containing a church, Capitoland Christian Schol (K4, K5 - and 1st grades we have available) adn day care facility.

Capitoland Daycare At Capitoland Children's Center, we see each child as an unique, marvelous gift from God to parents and consider it a privilege to help parents raise happy, well-adjusted children. We desire to support families who had a need for quality childcare and enhance each child's uniqueness. We know that selecting a day care can be an overwhelming task. It will be one of the most important decisions you'll make, because the early years of child care are critical to your child's long-term development. At our day care centers you and your child will receive the personal attention that we believe is necessary to enhance a trusting relationship. As a parent, you will receive the highest quality care for your child in a setting where your child's social, physical, emotional, and intellectual development will be nurtured.

Capitoland School We desire to meet the needs of the whole child and to promote spiritual and moral growth, academic and intellectual progress, and physical and social development. Our emphasis is high quality education combined with the knowledge that God's principles are the confirming basis for our actions and understanding. Capitoland Christian School is operated as a ministry of Capitoland Christian Center. The Church, along with the school, is non-demoninational, and admits students of any background. Our kindergarten and elementary curriculum covers language arts, math, science, social studies, health, and Bible. Bible is an important part of our teaching, as our primary objective in teaching Bible is the development of Christ-like behavior in each student. Our weekly Chapel program is designed to reinforce and supplement the teaching of the Bible through word and song. Curriculm and textbook materials are taken from Bob Jones University Press and A Beka Books. Art, physical education, and music are also taught once a week to enable students to develop their abilities in a wide range of activities.
