Andy Schafer, co-owner of Advantage Carpentry & Remodeling, has been in the construction business for over 19 years. His interest began at a young age when he would help his father with cabinetry projects. His interest continued into his teenage years, when he chose to attend Milwaukee Tech High School to pursue carpentry and cabinetmaking. Prior to Advantage Carpentry & Remodeling, he held the positions of Lead Carpenter and Project Manager for several local remodeling companies. He has continued his education over the years and is currently a NARI Certified Kitchen and Bath Remodeler and NARI Certified Lead Carpenter. He prides himself on his strong project management skills, being detail oriented, and completing jobs in a timely manner. He emphasizes constant communication with the home owner.Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two young daughters, golfing, and building custom cabinets and furniture pieces for friends and family.
Greg Wade, co-owner of Advantage Carpentry & Remodeling, has been in the remodeling industry for the past 19 years. He began at a young age, working with his uncle’s construction business during the summer months. He discovered that he enjoyed taking something old and worn out and transforming it into something the customer could enjoy. He attended Milwaukee Tech High School and then went on to work at a local mill shop, specializing in the construction and installation of high end cabinets, mantels, staircases, and interior trim. Prior to Advantage Carpentry & Remodeling, he worked for another remodeling contractor, carrying out all aspects of kitchen & bathroom remodeling projects. In his spare time, he likes to golf, travel, cheer on the Brewers and Packers, and spend time with his wife, dog, and friends at a backyard barbeque (Wisconsin weather permitting).
