Partners for After School Success (PASS)

What is PASS?

Partners for After School Success (PASS) is a multi-site AmeriCorps program run by the Dane County Department of Human Services in partnership with thirteen host site agencies that provide youth development programming throughout Dane County, Wisconsin.

PASS AmeriCorps members serve at host sites in predominantly low-income or resource-scarce communities with the goal of addressing the unmet educational needs of middle and high school youth through literacy tutoring and academic support; providing extended learning programs and engaging youth in service to the community.

PASS host sites include schools, private agencies, neighborhood centers and youth resource centers in Madison and rural Dane county.

In 2014, PASS was selected as one of twenty-eight Innovative AmeriCorps Programs in the United States by the Innovations in Civic Partnerships and America's Service Commissions.
