Universal Lithographers, Inc is a High-Quality, Multi-Color Commercial Sheet-fed and Digital Lithographer, producing a wide range of graphic communications such as Catalogs, Direct Mail, Annual Reports, Posters, Art Reproductions, POS, POP, Digital Printing, and Wide Format Digital Ink Jet Reproduction and Finishing. ULI is a Full-Service provider of Digital Pre-Media, Digital Printing, Multi-Color Printing and Coating with a complete Bindery and Finishing Dept. Our Hallmark is "Excellence In Color Lithography". ULI utilizes two MAN Roland 706 six color sheet-fed offset presses with inline aqueous coating units for both spot and overall coating. These presses are equipped with Remote Controlled Inking (RCI) which achieves correct overall ink control quickly, producing less waste and results in shorter make-ready times. They are also linked to a PECOM server which allows direct networking between Job-Planning, Digital Pre-Press, and Digital Plate Setters. This ensures accurate control of data and color within various stages of production. Also equipped with MAN Roland's Auto Plating, and Quickstart technology, the presses are able to register plates quickly and efficiently which allows them to get back to production standards with the very first sheet after a machine interruption which reduces waste by immediately accelerating the system to full speed. This helps us achieve record make-ready times, which contributes to faster turnarounds as well.

The presses can print on a variety of substrates (from 60# offset stock to 35 point board) at rated speeds of up to 15,000 impressions per hour. They have a maximum sheet size of 28”X40”. For Digital Printing ULI utilizes a Presstek 52DI Digital Multi-Color Offset Press. It has a maximum sheet size of 14" X 20", produces high end digital reproduction at speeds up to 10,000 IPH and can print conventional as well as FM screening up to 300 LPI. ULI also operates a 25”X36” Miehle Roland 2/C offset press with a continuous delivery system which produces one or two color jobs quickly and efficiently. ULI has Large Format Digital Inkjet Printers up to 64” wide. Point of purchase displays, backlit illuminated signs, outdoor banners printed with inks that retain their color for a longer lifetime, these are only a few of the possibilities that wide format printers bring to the market. In addition, these signs can also be laminated to many surfaces bringing durability to the printed piece. Diecutting enables you to bring shape to your printed piece, and using high gloss stocks give your work the color and shine that demands attention and sells your product.

Our Bindery/Finishing Department offers many ways to give your piece a look entirely of its own. The most common forms of bindery are saddle stitching and perfect binding. However, your imagination is truly the only limit to the way an end product can take form. Die cutting can be used to give your work shape. Pocket folders can contain space for materials to be added at a later time. Ring binders can be easily updated. Casebound books provide a look of elegance as well as durability. Embossing and Foiling adds dimension. Shrink wrapping can protect your product while in transit. Perhaps you need your product delivered or drop shipped to many locations? Our Fulfillment Department can handle this as well. ULI utilizes Polar and Wholenberg Programmable cutters, Stahl folders with gatefold attachments, Macey sidebinders, Muller-Martini perfect binders and saddle stitchers, Lawson and Challange high speed Drills, and Atlas 3 knife trimmers. A highly qualified team of operators ensures that your finished work is put together with perfection in mind.
