Gearbox Express is different from most other companies that perform wind gearbox repair. We are an independent company located just outside of Milwaukee comprised strictly of gearbox guys. We have grown up in the industry and have many years of experience with both gearing and bearings. We have rebuilt thousands of gearboxes across many markets and have had P&L responsibility for well-known gear and gearbox companies.

At Gearbox Express, we believe quality starts and finishes with people. We are constantly evaluating opportunities to further reduce down time. From improved bearing technology to tools & fixturing that simplify installation and commissioning: we have built our business with an eye towards speed, quality and service.

In addition, our team has built quality management systems at several organizations while successfully conducting multiple ISO audits.

Gearbox Express is on a mission: we take a proactive approach to gearbox life cycle management.

• We are specifically focused on down-tower services. We can provide technical up tower assistance as well as field support but our business is not O&M. We will work with your established relationships, not compete with them.
• Our newly renovated, 43,000 square-foot facility has been designed with a high attention to quality. It is a climate controlled, near-clean room environment.
• We use new OEM gearing and implement the latest bearing technology. We know that wind conditions vary site to site so an "as new" gearbox is needed to help ensure optimal life.
• Our GBXchange inventory is stocked with popular wind turbine gearboxes as well as mainshaft assemblies.
• Each remanufactured gearbox is load tested to ensure operational reliability and carries with it a three-year warranty, upgradeable to five.
