Company Overview
Edgewood High School of the Sacred Heart, founded in 1881, is a private, co-educational, Catholic school located in Madison, Wisconsin, and sponsored by the Sinsinawa Dominican Congregation. EHS offers a competitive salary and full benefits package!

In 2007, Madison Magazine assessed metro area high schools on objective measures - academics, environment, co-curricular participation - and ranked Edgewood #1. EHS was the first Madison school named a "School of Excellence" by the U.S. Department of Education and is a member of the National Catholic Education Association. It has been fully accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools since 1936 and by the Independent Schools Association of the Central States since 2008. Over 95% of EHS graduates go on to further education. Edgewood High School alumni are professionals, public servants and leaders who enhance the communities in which they live.

Enrollment is open regardless of educational or religious background. Students come from over 40 middle schools and from as far away as 50 miles to attend EHS, the only full-sized Catholic high school in a multi-county area. Over 40% of EHS students receive over $700,000 annually in financial aid. Most EHS students are Catholic; one quarter are of Christian and other faiths. About 13.5% are of minority heritage, close to the Madison metro area's minority representation of 15%.

Edgewood High School of the Sacred Heart educates the whole student for a life of learning, service and personal responsibility through a rigorous academic curriculum embracing the Sinsinawa Dominican values of Truth, Compassion, Justice, Partnership and Community.
