Incorporated in 1949, State Collection Service is bonded to and licensed by the State of Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions. State Collection Service has continually enjoyed above average growth by preparing for the future and maintaining a firm foundation built upon the trust and confidence of long-standing clients. We consistently lead the collection industry by maintaining our place on the cutting edge of technology and collection techniques. Our president, Tom Haag, is an active member in local and national collection agency associations. Most recently, he completed a term as president of the American Collectors Association. The entire company benefits from the knowledge and expertise Tom has gained through his affiliation with these organizations. Intensive internal training programs, continuing education for staff and a pro-active approach to resolving clients' accounts are the hallmark of our service. Education is a top priority at State Collection Service. Our free quarterly "Collectfast" breakfast meetings are designed to disseminate useful information to our clients and prospective clients. We feel it provides the participants with an opportunity to learn new techniques, reinforces proven collection methods and offers a venue to gain additional knowledge and insight into some of the more technical aspects of collections such as legal issues, probate filing and compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. In addition, it serves as an avenue for attendees to recharge their batteries by networking and commiserating with others in the collection field. Consultation and training are also an integral part of our commitment to our clients. We are very willing to share our expertise with our customers and have sponsored accredited collection schools for interested credit grantors.
