Company Overview
Environment:
Stay n Play Child Care (SPCC) is designed to mirror the look and feel of walking into someone’s home. Décor includes soft colors and home furnishings; a home-like atmosphere that is truly kid-friendly.

Independence:
Children are inspired to be age-appropriately independent. Teachers inspire and empower kids to become the best they can be. Each room has the words “YES I CAN” on the wall to remind children and teachers alike that the greatest accomplishment is the one they've done independently. Milestone achievements are celebrated with the whole group (i.e. potty training, learning to tie shoes, first steps, and academic achievements).

Curriculum:
Our curriculum is focused on learning life skills, supported by academics. Young children need to learn about whom they are, what they are capable of, and the importance of being self-sufficient. Academics come more easily to an independent, confident child. Effective, assertive, appropriate communication is also at the foundation of building these skills. Children spend a lot of time outside, in mix-aged groups, and in team-building activities at SPCC. We function as a family.

Cleanliness:
It is imperative that our environment is always kept clean and safe. This is especially important in the groups of very young children. Infant and toddler rooms are free from very small objects and the floors are exceptionally clean for mobile infants.  Hard toys are sanitized daily.  Soft toys and blankets are laundered regularly.  All bottles are labeled with the child's name, washed by hand with soap/ water, then sanitized after each use.

Professionalism:
The teachers at SPCC meet licensing requirements for their education. They are passionate about seeing children thrive and are always presentable/professional.  They are confident and model positive communication for the children. All staff members share SPCC’s vision for excellence in care and are a TEAM member in achieving our goals.  All Staff are passionate about the successes of every child, themselves, and co-workers.

Nutrition:
SPCC’s standards surpass those set by the federally-funded Child and Food Program (CACFP). Our “meat and potato” meals are prepared with the health of the children in mind. We are conscious of the special diet needs and food allergies of our clients. Children are encouraged to explore their tastes.  Children learn by participating as a “food helper” where they help set the table, serve foods, and assist the cook age-appropriately.  Home made meals are made with the health of our children in mind on a daily bases.
