Great Lakes Packaging (GLP), a Green Bay Packaging Inc. Company, is headquartered in Germantown, Wisconsin. Founded in 1963, the Company takes pride in doing the "unique" for the customer, while delivering service and quality unsurpassed in our industry. GLP supplies corrugated and plastic corrugated containers, point-of-purchase products, foam and specialty packaging, fulfillment/contract packaging and related services to a broad range of customers and industries. Our goal is to work with our customers to integrate their packaging requirements and provide "one-stop shopping" where it is justified.

The Company is an industry leader and one of the largest independent packaging converting operations in our marketing area, building its reputation on state-of-the-art design capabilities and technology. An experienced work force provides our customers with the flexibility and superior service required to be successful in today's marketplace. The headquarters campus consists of approximately 140,000 square feet of office and manufacturing facilities in the Germantown Industrial Park. GLP also has over 30,000 square feet of facilities in Madison, Wisconsin for foam and plastic corrugated converting, fulfillment and contract packaging. A sales office is also located in the Chicago area. In addition, warehouse space is leased as required to support the needs of our customers. The Company typically operates 3 shifts on a 5-day week with over 115 dedicated employees at a capacity level that meets the changing needs of our customers. GLP was ISO 9001 certified in 1997 and upgraded to the new ISO 9001:2000 standards in 2003. We also have a Lean Strategies program in place and actively participate with our customers in their quality efforts and activities to reduce costs.

Our information systems include a secure, state-of-the-art IBM mainframe environment, Amtech industry software for the office and plant that includes bar-coding, ARTIOS CAD, GEIS software for EDI and internet capabilities. Almost every major aspect of our business is automated. Just-in-time programs are available to our customers and are customized to meet their special requirements. As part of this effort, substantially all customer products are transported by a fleet of GLP trucks consisting of trailers, tractors, straight trucks and express vans for quick deliveries.
